Right people - 1st video - Don't be too harsh on me! I'm certainly no T.V chef but more recipe's to follow!
Porridge Oats - 80-100g
Milk - 200-250ml
Cinnamon stick
Star Anise
Blueberries
Strawberries
Honey
Sunflower Seeds
Pumpkin Seeds
Method
- Heat up your milk in a saucepan along with the cinnamon and star anise to infuse the flavour.
- In another pan add the porridge oats and when the milk comes to the boil add gradually to the oats, constantly stirring all the time. Make sure you control the heat so it doesn't stick to the bottom of the pan!
- Gradually the porridge will start to thicken. Personally I like my porridge "loose" - not runny and not too thick but it's entirely up to you!
- Once all the milk has been absorbed, serve into a bowl, garnish with strawberries and blueberries (or alternative fruit) sprinkle with crushed pumpkin and sunflower seeds, drizzle with honey. BINGO!
